Trends in the Prevalence of Selected Risk Behaviors for All Students
National YRBS: 1991—2007
The national Youth Risk Behavior Survey (YRBS) monitors priority health risk behaviors that contribute to the leading causes of death, disability, and social problems among youth and adults in the United States.
The national YRBS is conducted every two years during the spring semester and provides data representative of 9th through 12th grade students in public and private schools throughout the United States.

Timeline
I chose timeline images based on two categories: mortgage crisis images that are directly related the events from Wikipedia’s Subprime Crisis Impact Timeline and apple images from four seasons that have symbolic meanings.
The chosen events start with initial stages of (somewhat positive and beneficial) mortgage policies and history in 1970’s and ends with the recent problematic results and facts in 2008.
Mapping
What is in my brain?
Inside my brain, there are many things that I have to think about. Multitasking is the best word to describe my current situation. I am a woman, mother, artist, student, wife, and so on.
Why mapping my brain is important? First of all, I have to reorganize many thoughts for myself. Second, I encourage that busy people like me stop doing busy works momentarily, try to map their brains, and ask themselves meaningful questions: who they are, what the most important things in their lives are, and when they feel happy.
This project is about my identities as an artist, a woman, and a mother and the relationships among them.
